Getting Ready
for Your New
Kitten

What do you need for your new kitten?
-
How do you make sure the transition to his/her new home is a smooth one?
Here is a list of items you need for the well-being of your kitten:
-
IMPORTANT: Never buy food before the kitten has been selected, and make sure to confirm that the kitten is indeed fed this food before purchasing. It is essential to buy the same brand and the same flavor. The brand could vary from one kitten to another or from one litter to another, since some kittens may have intolerances to certain foods.
-
As a new owner, you are expected to take your kitten to your own vet for a checkup within 3 days following the reception of your kitten. This is to ensure the kitten is healthy and is required for the Health Guarantee to be valid.
-
The kitten will need a final vaccine at 16 weeks of age to complete the booster series. Please schedule this appointment before you pick up your kitten.
-
Dewormer, which can be prescribed by your veterinarian, is also something to consider up to the age of 6 months.
